Between Pandemics Diary

I don’t even remember what it’s like to have a reliable paycheck anymore. Every me morning I awake to new inbox of frantic emails from my advocacy colleagues and Democrats pleading for donations. Meanwhile

Trump’s Tyranny looms larger and larger. He cancels global health investments damaging the vulnerable lives of the people who have always been my heart.

Trump demands military parades, cuddles up with other dictators, cancels the science I have spent my life supporting.

Dark times indeed. Meanwhile the smoldering class war down South is everywhere. There’s just a hovering current of rage everywhere, as undereducated folks have decided to burn down the world.

Of course the crimes against the Earth and destruction of the social safety net and public health systems. The blind indifference of the working folks and carelessly sickening of the vulnerable is the worst part. Everyone that doesn’t serve Trump blindly is the enemy in America and I know the microbes are circling the drain.

I look forward to being on the other side of the next pandemic if any of us make. These days every sunset is a surprise and sunrise a gift.
