It is heartbreaking to see how normalized rape is becoming. This is a multi administration problem. Biden wasted four years to invest in real protections for Haitian women. Now, Trump the rape president, is filling the vacuum with innocent blood. Only the most deaden of hearts will fail to care for the plight of Haiti’s women and children. They have become currency for traders in violence. Give a boy a soldiers gun and the community is his hunting ground. In America all it takes is money.
Men must understand that women are the carriers of our species flame. Every woman is sacred. They must be cherished and protected at all costs. If Haiti’s gangs are supposed to be liberators then the women in the community must never be persecuted. The Tonton Macoutes committed the same crimes. Are you sexual predators like Americans or men of Haitian descent and protectors of the first free democratic republic in the Western Hemisphere?
If I was a woman in Haiti I would fine as many sisters, mothers, children as possible and good men and flee to a safe place. Of course where will you go? Actually you’re trapped. You could get a gun or machete and maybe that will work but only together. Women must protect other women until Trump’s term, the American carnage, ends.
The same questions go for Americans. The victims of systemic violence in Haiti is the same story here. Trump empowers the gang rape, and he is making his own gangs here like the Haitian government empowered.
Woman in America might have more rights and protection than Haitian women today. We might have a liberal democracy and mighty military now, but we also are locked in the same inequality spiral that destroyed Haiti from within. After four years of Trump our government will be nothing but sociopathic confidence men and their decorated little flocks of cruel ambitious women, all locked away in high rise towers and villas barking orders to their world of slaves.
Haitian women and men who honor them must unite. The world’s women and men who honor them must do the same. We must fight for each other and the flame of human dignity and rights.
