I am an old PHD student and professor and I understand the potential of AI. I also understand the risks. The greater risk though is that there isn’t a moral AI equivalent. Instead AI advances in the void of one of the darkest periods in the history of our genus. Morally bankrupt men and women will have the digital cannon at their fingertips.
What will they use AI for? How will the good use AI to fight back?
These are the only questions that matter when it comes to AI. Purpose and the bend of thy heart have never mattered more.
