Honestly, no I personally am not, but we as a country are better. Sometimes we have to fall on the sword to advance the Species.
Epilogue:
A few caveats. First and foremost I never voted for Trump nor would I. I cherish women, equity, integrity, and the Earth far too much to ever do that.
Things were better for me personally during Trump presidency because Trump policies opened the door to Pandemics and epidemic control is my specialty (alas, see post ‘Mama don’t let your son grow up to be an Epi Cowboy’).
I was being ironic. Civility, equality, and good governance are prophylaxis against disease and inequality, which is stultifying for the best Epidemiology. Sigh😉 That’s why The Epinhood resolved to go back to school in peace time, because like the Arc of Justice; STEM is always marching forward, and there’s plenty of new material to learn and methods to advance.
