When I see beautiful open-source solutions like the ourworldindata.org coronavirus data explorer my faith in humanity’s odds against COVID-19 is buoyed.
On a similar note the NYT published an encouraging article yesterday on the “space race” for a COVID-19 vaccine.
I combine both updates here because one of the most impactful lessons to me so far as an Epidemiologist wrestling with the COVID-19 Pandemic is how futile information and immunizations are if the most uniformed and susceptible among us are not given preferential access to them.
