NASA’s SARP (Student Airborne Research Program) is a summer internship program designed for talented and motivated undergraduate students to work alongside NASA scientists and engineers on cutting-edge research missions. Participants in SARP work on data gathering and analysis projects aboard NASA’s research aircraft, the DC-8 flying laboratory. This program provides an unparalleled opportunity for students to gain hands-on research experience in a variety of fields including atmospheric science, engineering, and Earth system science. Applications for SARP are typically due in the fall for the following summer’s program.
