Show me a farmer and I guarantee meaningful science is near. Still, somehow, HPAI is coming for us and my little dinosaur friends here. Our species, the great sentinels, have harnessed physical energy and improved the very building blocks of life, but when it comes to advancing in the science of protecting the vulnerable and predicting the catastrophe even when we cause the catastrophes, we choose to remain primitive and make the biggest decisions on imperfect instincts. Still one day of sunlight or true understanding of resilience could prove my hypothesis false, but for that the least of us would have to stand up. “Prophets and Wizards” in solidarity for survival for the vulnerable, in-spite of the terrible, because we are capable of overcoming anything the universe unveils. On that day we’ll be able to catch the sky before it falls.
