Since COVID-19 minted millions of Epidemiologists overnight, y’all know in Epi we have this triangle framework. On this triangle we hang three charms, the host, the agent, the environment and that’s all I’ll say about it, well other than this. In Epi all humans are hosts.
Now in the EH this is usually the paradigm through which we explain how a pathogenic agent moves through an environment to infect a target host to achieve its biological objectives. However let me make a clean break here to say instead that the fact we are all hosts also can mean in the EH we are all deserving of love and respect. Republicans and Democrats, Fat Cats and Vulnerables, Black and White, He and She from every Nationality is a host worthy of saving.
