Maybe it’s the Piedmont clay but I see where we’re heading environmentally. There will never be enough water to quench the living. Trees and animals will die and the AC systems will not cover the difference between the shade and direct sunlight. The loss of diverse landscapes will reduce the diversity of living organisms. Heat and thirst and regret of wasting our last hope to survive on Trumpism will only increase stress in our new world. Political disempowerment will fuel economic inequality, environmental degradation will increase inequality. For the sake of life we must recognize the only way leave our creators Earth with our souls intact is fixing all of anthropogenic problems before the Earth fits us for extinction.
