• Cause of Outbreak: High level of open defecation, poor waste management, and poor water sources.
• Cholera Outbreak Cause: High level of open defecation in the state, particularly in Ijebu North LGA.
• Government Response: Chlorinating wells in Ijebu North LGA, collaborating with other ministries, and advising residents to avoid open defecation.
• Public Health Advice: Residents are advised to construct toilets and sanitary wells to prevent fecal contamination of water sources.
