According to the general director of the National Center of Diseases, Libya, 55 children in Darnah province, recently affected by flash floods, suffered from gastroenteritis and acute watery diarrheas due to shortage in safe drinking water and the possibility of contamination of water sources with sewage system and ground water sources.
