The Arche Warder Landschaftstierpark Dream

Next to my own farm I can now confidently state there is no other animal ark on Earth that cares more about the conservation of animals. Of course Arche Warder is far more advanced in this mission than I am, but it doesn’t matter which human or where, when the goal is to save biodiversity from the death engines of the Anthropocene.

The Arche Warder model is exemplary however. In many ways I would put it on the same level as voyage through the Galapagos. The passion of the owners to the craftsmanship of the animal habitats and care of preservation endemic species and ecosystems.

The result is a place with some of the rarest, and thus most endangered animals on Earth, that were critical to German historical culture and biodiversity across space and time. The only metaphor to explain it is think about when rock music was perfect and then the long and excruciating fall to where we are today.

At Arche Warder they have descendants of Napoleon’s Poitou Donkeys for example and surviving goats from the original species that evolved into invasive species in the Galapagos.

Perhaps the greatest Donkeys on Earth

Also thriving at Arche Warder are long haired hogs that were originally refugees from a war whose ancestors represent the farmers pigs that lived in German River Valleys before the massive industrial booms.

I am only scratching the surface here about one of my new favorite places on Earth. Moreover the model embodies where The Epinhood mission will go in its blogging on the story of life and disease post my Ph.D. Rebirth.

Starting with to save life, you must know it biologically in all of its complexity and higher dimensions and manifestations of beauty. Then you must know those states, know how to protect them, and be prepared to dedicate your life to their preservation. Just like they do so majestically at Arche Warder.
