There are many culprits for our current Trumpism crisis but I think the U.S. workforce is a major contributor. I cannot tell you how many mediocre managers I have butted heads with. Sustaining the status quo for shallow profits hidden decision makers who drive public and corporate entities to capitalistic interests that are antagonistic to human survival.
In the U.S. it’s an institutional crisis too with no oversight. The adults are gone. Consider how negligible insurers are to injury and illness of millions of patients and disabuse of every provider but an elite few and yet our congress uses its power to investigate and censor the man who ensured our Nation survived the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Let me also say as TEH, an actual infectious disease expert, it is impossible to start a Pandemic in a lab. Gain of function research aside, viruses are not gremlins made in Asian markets. They are lifeless specks of matter that only spread when living hosts facilitate their transmission, literally carrying them from point A to B or placing them in a gun and pulling the trigger. Yes a virus is at its very worst a bullet. The U.S. has designed all of the world’s most lethal bullets, does that mean everyone who dies from a full metal jacket is a victim of ammunition factory in Indiana.
No the real perpetrators of Pandemics are the arms dealers who break herd immunity or become super spreaders. Let me tell you who the super spreaders were. Naw can’t do that, HIPPA. Neither could Dr. Fauci. Another reason he’s in trouble now, I will tell you, he’s mostly in trouble because his employers during the Pandemics initiation were villains and crooks. How many good people like Dr. Fauci suffered a similar fate at the hands of the same corrupt scoundrels?
I could write 100 posts a day detailing the malfeasance and incompetence but what would that do to my psyche. Therefore let me just end by saying if you are a politician and you have a plan to fix my community, it better start with employment and have a backbone.
Take Mayor Mamdani in New York. What kind of hypocrite runs on a platform of human rights and justice and then fires all the Haitians in his city because of a Racist court and President decides their lives are expendable. There is no way out until good people with power start calling balls and strikes with the same enthusiasm as the dark legions.
I’ll hand it to Trump, at least he has the integrity to do what he says will do. No matter what the consequences and sins involved, he leads. Often off the cliff or straight through the gates of hell, and if we did the same with the moral good in our sails, the majority would be loyal.
If we led like Dr. King lead. If we employed like Ford and Dubois envisioned, the path to the upward lift of people’s souls would make all of the paper masts collapse in comparison.
This takes strength and steely resolve though and a certainty you are right.
