What if we had listened to Rachel Carson when she wrote The Sea Around us in 1951?

“For the globe as a whole, the ocean is the great regulator, the great stabilizer of temperatures…Without the ocean, our world would be visited by unthinkably harsh extremes of temperatures.”

The kicker is so much of what Rachel Carson thought was influenced by Alexander Humboldt in 1800.

Both were correct in their predictions and Big Oil and Big Gas have made 2.8 Billion in profit every day since Rachel Carson reflected on Humboldt and the Oceans and our fate.

We already know what must be done. No excuses. Are you for the oceans of the living or the oceans of the dead?
