Everyone knows the conservative judges on the U.S. Supreme Court are profoundly underdeveloped when it comes to Emotional Intelligence and empathy. With this bit of theater however I would say they are morally bankrupt as well. I use bankruptcy, from Dr. King, because it means their ideas and positions are so indebted to lobbyists they cannot even stand with dignity in the courts of laymen opinions let alone judicial standings. How can anyone say who has a right to flee oppression and who must be sent back to die? Summation: can a democracy with morally bankrupt judges persist. Nope. I for one am skipping our birthday party this year.
